Quicken updates your capital gains and losses every time you sell a security. Follow these steps to make sure the Capital Gains Estimator is using the most recent information:
- Click the Investing tab.
- Click the Tools button and choose Capital Gains Estimator.
- From the Options drop-down menu, choose Update YTD Cap. Gains.
